Established in 1962, for 63 Years Wildex Limited (ANACONDA BELTING COMPANY) have been supplying the materials handling industry, everything from Elevator Belting, Buckets, Bolts and Fasteners to PVC Strip curtain & Hanger Bearings, from Farmers to Distilleries, from London to Glasgow and even heading out to Saudi Arabia. Our name has spread far and wide so we must be doing something right.
Len Williams founded the company in 1962 in Bermondsey, London SE1 and spent a few years building the business and always out visiting customers, the business then moved to Bexleyheath, Kent DA8 where his business and clientele continued to grow.
Len spent 30 years building the business and developing relationship’s, then when the time was right he encouraged his son Dave to join in the 90’s, where the company grew extensively thanks to Dave’s travels around the country, so help was needed & Dave encouraged his youngest son Jon to join in the late 90’s when he was in between jobs, Gareth was away travelling at this point.
Then the business moved from Bexleyheath DA8 to Dartford DA2 where we settled for a number of years and where the business went from strength to strength and in the end was looking for more help. Len had retired at this point.
Gareth had returned from his trips abroad and was available to step in and help so Dave convinced his eldest son to join in 2008.
So although Len is now sadly no longer with us we have a Father, Dave (Len’s son) and his two sons (Gareth & Jon) running the company, so you can always rely on a warm and friendly personal service.
As technologies and industries have evolved in time we have added a number of supplementary products to our range in order to help service our customers. We pride ourselves on our quality of service and the relationships we have built up over the 63 Years of trading.
